About the school
Kamod Secondary School is a mixed O’ and A’ Level school founded in 1980 by the Church of Uganda, Diocese of Soroti. The school was established to provide accessible and affordable secondary education to children from rural fishing communities in Bugondo and neighbouring areas.
The school is duly registered and recognised by the Ministry of Education and Sports and has operated as a government grant-aided institution since January 1982. Over the years, Kamod Secondary School has continued to serve learners from rural and peri-urban communities while expanding opportunities for academic and personal development.
